16th Annual Cottage Tour

Attention history hounds, architecture enthusiasts and the coastally curious: it’s almost time to put on your walking shoes to take a tour through Cannon Beach’s unique homes and gardens. Join the Tour that Sunset Magazine calls the “best autumn event” in Cannon Beach and support Cannon Beach’s only history museum.
The 2019 Cottage Tour will take place the weekend of September 13 – 15 with a series of events. Enjoy wine tasting, live music, local art, and more! This popular historic home tour takes place in the heart of Cannon Beach. You’ll have a beautiful view of Haystack Rock while enjoying this self-guided, self-paced walking tour. Homes featured on previous tours have received awards in Oregon Home Magazine, Sunset Magazine, The Oregonian, Seattle Times, Oregon Coast Magazine, HGTV, among others.
The Cottage Tour is a fundraiser for Cannon Beach’s only history museum, the Cannon Beach History Center & Museum. The Cannon Beach History Center & Museum is home to the cannon that Cannon Beach is named for, a replica long house, a tide pool exhibit, and the history of Cannon Beach and Arch Cape. It features a free lecture series, workshops, and field trip activities throughout the year. This private non-profit is donation based thanks to the Cottage Tour! The Cottage Tour is a don’t miss event for history enthusiasts, home designers, architects, and anyone who would like to see inside of some of these quaint cottages and historic homes.
